How is age calculated?

We count completed calendar months from your birth date, group every 12 months into a year, then count the remaining days. The calculation uses calendar dates, so daylight saving changes don’t add or subtract a day.

What about leap years and birthdays at the end of a month?

If a month doesn’t have your birth day, we use its last day for that month’s anniversary. For example, January 31 to February 28 in a non-leap year counts as one month. A February 29 anniversary falls on February 28 in a non-leap year.

Can I calculate my age for an older height measurement?

Yes. Enter your birthday, then change “Age on” to the date the measurement was taken. Use the result’s years and months in the “Age then” fields in your growth history.
